Steal this Blog post

I picked up this little ditty from over at the Daily Kooks. The drones used it to insult the former president, but I think it is infinitely more applicable to the current one.

The cartoon touches on a sensitive and important point: Bush wasn't an idiot, he was just a terrible communicator. The "Bush is an idiot" contrivance was invented and promoted by the media. They've been at war with the right since Nixon. Remember, Obama and the media are reading from the same playbook - "Rules for Radicals"

And in that book, Alinsky wrote that to be an effective radical, you must hide who you really are. Whatever your chosen profession, don't use the words that will frighten the white middle class. Words such as "Communist", "Radical", "Marxist", "Counter-revolutionary"

Alinsky wrote that radicals should use the nebulous word "change" in order to agitate your political enemies. He also suggested that you ridicule your enemies because there was no defense against that tactic.

So we started to see Leftist radicals migrate into the media: Newspapers, journalist, television, attorneys, judges and priests. That's why in the 1970's we saw the Left take to the television like a duck to water. Shows like "MASH", "Maude" and "SNL" and their ilk acted as platforms for Liberal views. I remember one episode of Maude in which she, an arch-feminist, defiantly defended Roosevelt to her hen-pecked husband. MASH took on an anti-war theme around season 3. SNL famously had Chevy Chase impersonate President Ford and portrayed him as a clumsy baffoon who couldn't keep from falling down all the time. Actually Ford was probably the best athlete that has ever been president.

So you see, the radicals have done their work well and now they have one of their own in the White House, and in charge of the legislative branch.

So the cartoon is relevant to the extent that we didn't elect a moron in the strictest sense, but we did elected a whole bunch of Leftist radicals - and they're actively dismantling our society through the power of the Federal government.

Tea party, anyone?

You might be a Right Wing Extremist If....

The Blogosphere is crackling with the news that Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano signed off on a memo aimed at identifying and tracking "Right Wing extremists" across the nation.

Of course the always-savvy Michelle Malkin is all over it with her usual insight and political gravitas.

The report is entitled Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.

The Liberty Papers posted a must-read break down on this ridiculous piece of blatant propaganda.

The report says that all it takes to fit the terrorist profile is to have general anti-government feelings or prefer local/state government to federal control over everything.

Our Founding Fathers are probably rolling so fast in their graves that we could hook them onto a dynamo and power the southern California electrical grid.

To clarify, the government will target you and put you on a "list" if you exhibit any or all of the following traits:

  • Have Anti-Obama bumper stickers on your car
  • You are a veteran of Afghanistan or Iraq
  • You are a Federalist (ie. You prefer State sovereignty and a smaller Federal gov't.)
  • You're Pro-life
  • You're in a supporter of the Second Amendment
  • You actually want a unified National Sovereignty

Welcome to a legitimate Police State, folks. For decades the Left has white-washed the fact that they're steeped in totalitarianism. The Left is responsible for such wonderful social experiments as Communism, Socialism, Neo-socialism, Enviro-socialism, and National Socialism. These systems bred fear, ruthless obedience to the State, and a diminution of the individual in favor of the almighty State.

This is what Obama is all about. He's a hard Left radical dressed up as a moderate Democrat. He is now plainly nothing of the sort.

Obama ChiaPet

The Obama Chia pet is being pulled from Walgreens stores because the pharmacy chain has received some complaints.

I really need to get my hands on one of these...at least the Chia will have a higher IQ than our illustrious leader. It won't studder, make rude remarks to female reporters, won't go overseas and apologize for everything American, it won't confuse "breathalyzer" with "inhalator", it won't lie repeatedly and call entitlement spending "investments"...

Yes, I would much prefer an empty clay pot with some bean sprouts on its head over what we have in the White House right now. That would be Hope and Change indeed.

BTW, has anyone asked Michelle Obama what she's spending on her wardrobe these days? I remember when Sara Palin was running it seemed that the MSM couldn't get enough of asking the Republican VP candidate what she spent on clothing. For some reason the "watch-dog" media hasn't provided Michelle with the same level of scrutiny.

Some quick hits

Here are some quick hits for Monday, 10-Apr-2009:

* The NYTimes reports that Obama will push an Amnesty program to Fast-track illegals into citizenship. Obama will frame the debate as “policy reform that controls immigration and makes it an orderly system,” said Obama's mouthpiece, Cecilia Muñoz. She is the deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs.

* Obama refuses to answer reporters' questions on the Somali piracy situation. My guess is that he feels that the Somali pirates are "kindred spirits" and that their desperate economic plight in war-torn Somalia compels them to murder and ravage. Gee that's probably what he thought while registering violent street gang-members to vote in Chicago. "Hey, what the hell - the Somalis are taking it to "the Man" - I won't answer no questions on that."

* Obama flies a pizza chef in to make pizzas in the White House. This story plus the "party every Wednesday" in the White House show that this ignorant, elitist snob has no idea how to run anything: a company, an office, nor a country. Obama just loves to spend your money - on whatever he wants. It's good to be The King.

And for all of you who think that Obama is an honest, truthful person - guess again. Chuck Schumer clarifies that you've been sold a bill of goods that isn't legit. Those "old fashioned values" and "strong foreign policy" of you Right-Wing fascists are over, says Schumer. Check out the quick clip:

Again, I must reiterate that we were founded on strong separation of powers delineated in our constitution. Our founders believed that we were endowed with rights by God, not by man and certainly not by government, with inalienable rights - the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These Statists believe that the government decides how you live your life, and what you do with your time and private property. Look what they're doing to corporations: barging into GM's boardroom and forcing Rick Wagner to resign....are they kidding me? We don't live in a Banana Republic where the Dictator gets to say who makes money and who doesn't - do we?

More to come - stay tuned.
