Rahm's in Hot water

Rahm Emanuel is in hot water again. No, it's not come to light that he didn't pay his taxes - in that respect he's different than many of Obama's other appointees.

The Tribune reports that Emanual worked for Freddie Mac and earned $320,000 for doing almost nothing.

Emanuel's Freddie Mac involvement has been a prominent point on his political résumé, and his healthy payday from the firm has been no secret either.

What is less known, however, is how little he apparently did for his money and how he benefited from the kind of cozy ties between Washington and Wall Street that have fueled the nation's current economic mess.

It was just another Chicago-style patronage job for Rahm. If you read the whole Tribune piece you'll see what I mean.

For those of you who don't get it yet, the Democrat lackeys at the helm at Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae were cooking the books in order to get high level bonuses.

Where are the Senate hearings on what the criminals Franklin Rains, Jaime Gerelick, Jim Johnson, Chris Dodd, and "Heterophobe" Barney Frank did while at Freddie Mac/Ginnie Mae?

We should certainly hope that some sort of committee be launched to investigate Rahm Emanuel and how he benefited from his shady relations at the GSE giant.

I like the city's new plan to do away with those uniform checks. You'll get a debit card which only works at uniform stores. No more gambling money for Vegas, only new clothing to buy. We'll have all smartly dressed officers on the street.
