Obama in 1995: "That's how white folks will do you."

More nuggets of racial bigotry from the Anointed One.

The RiehlWorld blogger dug down and put together the proof that Barack Hussein Obama bought into and acknowledged the Black Liberation Theology of Jeremiah Wright.

"That's just how white folks will do you," Obama writes. "It wasn't merely the cruelty involved; I was learning that black people could be mean and then some. It was a particular brand of arrogance, an obtuseness in otherwise sane people that brought forth our bitter laughter. It was as if whites didn't know they were being cruel in the first place. Or at least thought you deserving of their scorn."

The original Chicago Reader article is here.

Of course this story will be buried in the mainstream media. Nothing negative about the Anointed One must get through the Lib PR machine.

Learn what the man was saying, not what you and the GOP'ers want it to be.

He said both black and whites could be mean. Read the article, Obama speaks of his own ignorance, as a college student, to a Mexican cleaning lady.

Obama is right. White people (and those of all colors actually) look at things from their own perspective and not in the other guy's shoes.

Your quirky comment reminds of white people who use the n-word. In fact, Obama talks about his grade school basketball coach who used the word. They rationalize there is a difference between an "n" and a "black person."

The word is hate, pure and simple, and nothing more. It's history means lynchings, fire bombings and out and out racism.

And please, please, please, no one write that there can be a white "n." That's a cop-out.

rue get a grip , you take "thats how white folks will do you" as racist when in fact it is not. It's funny when whites all of a sudden feel victimized when a person of color sets the record straight about racism in this country. Rev wright was correct in many instances regarding this nation's policies and problems with racism but was watered down in the 20 second sound bite. lefty is right about the n word! The movie" do the right thing" by Spike Lee touches on this subject when he asked one of the italian men why Michael Jordan or anything other athletes are not the n-word but other blacks were.

My thoughts on the speech that Palin delivered? It was well-delivered but still left me unimpressed because it was long on personal attacks and self-serving narrative with her special needs baby, pregnant teen daughter and her "Baby Daddy" being used as political props, but short on substantive matters of concern to me as a voter and a woman, namely what are thoughts on the mortgage and credit crisis, high unemployment rate, affordable healthcare, rising college costs, and not to mention sky-rocketing food and energy prices. I would have been more impressed if the speech had been written by her, and not a Bush operative. Am I afraid of the bulldog with lipstick comment? No, I fear the reality of Palin as a VP and potentially the President of the USA if the unthinkable happens is that she is no more than George Bush Jr. with lipstick. How's that for scare tactics? If you liked the last 8 years, you will really love the next four if the GOP and its base have their way. A truly sad state of affairs. Let's see how see how she handles the media on her own without aides and the teleprompter. Now that she has proven she is no shrinking violet let us hope she puts aside playing the victim of sexist attacks and the media go after her on matters of real concerns to the America electorate.

Wow! Three confirmed Leftist radicals all chiming in - in succession no less.

To what do I owe this honor? A confluence of the stars no doubt.

LITB & Co.: Caterwauling about Class and Race divisions again, huh? White people DO NOT (exclusively) use race to make personal judgments and to form opinions. Blacks, on the other hand, ALWAYS use race in that manner. Everything gets funneled through their racial prism. Obama actually sat there for 20 years listening to J. Wright as the "reverend" preached on and on about how "put upon" the black folks are by White America. Let's be fair: Blacks have been the beneficiaries of significant government subsidies. They've had 40+ years of entitlements, racial quotas in their favor, affirmative action and - let's not leave the best for last - Political Correctness. And they, as a group, have done pretty damn well in America. Incomes, home ownership and affluence are all up (way up) in the black community. Just like everyone else here; if you work hard you get rewarded.

You and your Orwellian colleagues would like nothing better than to obviate the Constitution and enforce your dismal Language Laws. Your activist Fifth Column lackeys in the courts already took a step into the totalitarian abyss by passing "Hate crime" laws. Nowhere in the constitution does it say a person can't be a bigot.

So get off your high-horse and quit lecturing people about how they should act, what they should say and how they should say it.

And to 1:42, blacks can feel victimized but whites actually DO get victimized - literally. Blacks are 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against a white than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery.

Blacks are 2.25 times more likely to commit officially-designated hate crimes against whites than vice versa.

Reverend Wright was not correct in much of what he says. Blacks have had 400 years to pull themselves up
by their bootstraps, but won't. As Pastor David Manning says, "Blacks must have a mental deficit if they can't get it together after 400 years."

So pardon me for pointing out the bloody obvious. "Moral equivalency" has no place in our society, and no place on my blog.

3:47 - The only ones making an issue about Palin and her kids are the DriveByMedia. Because she's conservative, she's getting vilified.

That's okay because the Democratic games won't make a difference in November. We're going to have McCain and Palin for the next 4 years.

3:47, your messiah hasn't answered any of the "substantive matters" either, and he's been out there stumping for months. Can someone please tell me 1 thing the sen. from IL has done to better this state? Palin has done more for Alaska as gov. than any democRAT has done for IL in years.

Warning! Warning! Warning! The cities water meters are coming soon to an area near you. And guess where they are to be installed first? Why on the far northwest side of the city. The west side shall probably be exempt cause they can't pay and the west side preachermen will bitch about an illegal tax on the black folks.
