Nice.

Off topic. I've been out of commission of late so I wasn't able to respond to the "Patriot" until today. I'm back up to full strength now and he will find my answer to his garbled ravings in the "Keep The Fight Alive" thread from 10 September 2007.

Stay safe.

Those polock chicks might look good, just don't let them talk. Pigeon toe english? yes? no?

It's nice to be back Rue.

No Patriot, I wasn't at the Jena march though I completely support their cause. The law should be applied evenly to all American citizens no matter their color, to be sure a difficult concept for reactionary racists to comprehend.

By the way I noticed that you haven't responded to my arguments in the "Keep The Fight Alive" thread from 10 September. Oh well.

The law being equally applied? Working class people are being robbed
raped & murdered all over this country by the ghetto subculture. Yet
when a middle class person takes action its constant news till the balance is shifted against them.

I'll answer your iran thing when I feel like it, but first:
Because Im stupid about equality: what is the racial makeup of rape victims & offenders in LAKEVIEW. Then to be balanced, what is the makeup of communities(?) like AUSTIN or FILMORE as far as CSA?

W/your answer on the SIX; I guess its okay for 6 angry people to beatup on some lone citizen(even though he's some liberal larva)..

“The law being equally applied? Working class people are being robbed
raped & murdered all over this country by the ghetto subculture”—Patriot

Ok lightweight, it’s time to put you to rest. Let’s begin with the premise of my argument that the “law should be applied evenly to all American citizens no matter their color”. This should hardly be controversial as our Bill of Rights addresses precisely the issue of equal protection under the law. Moreover, all nations with any pretence of civilization respect the rule of law (in theory) and have codified within their constitutions specific language outlining the rights of the citizenry in relation to the same. That the law should apply evenly to all citizens, regardless of race or class, is not just an expectation of a civilization but in fact a REQUIREMENT of one.

The Jena 6 case has nothing at all to do with “working class people being robbed” or “the ghetto subculture” Patriot for these are merely straw men you’ve erected in hopes of evading the issue entirely. That issue of course is the persistent double standard that applies to African Americans within our criminal justice system and is perfectly encapsulated in the Jena 6 debacle. What follows is a review of the facts as they are now known courtesy of colorofchange.org:

***********************

“Last fall in Jena, Louisiana, the day after two Black high school students sat beneath the "white tree" on their campus, nooses were hung from the tree. When the superintendent dismissed the nooses as a "prank," more Black students sat under the tree in protest. The District Attorney then came to the school accompanied by the town's police and demanded that the students end their protest, telling them, "I can be your best friend or your worst enemy... I can take away your lives with a stroke of my pen."

A series of white-on-black incidents of violence followed, and the DA did nothing. But when a white student was beaten up in a schoolyard fight, the DA responded by charging six black students with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
It's a story that reads like one from the Jim Crow era, when judges, lawyers and all-white juries used the justice system to keep blacks in "their place"--but it's happening today. The families of these young men are fighting back, but the odds are stacked against them...

The noose-hanging incident and the DA's visit to the school set the stage for everything that followed. Racial tension escalated over the next couple of months, and on November 30, the main academic building of Jena High School was burned down in an unsolved fire. Later the same weekend, a black student was beaten up by white students at a party. The next day, black students at a convenience store were threatened by a young white man with a shotgun. They wrestled the gun from him and ran away. While no charges were filed against the white man, the students were arrested for the theft of the gun.

That Monday at school, a white student, who had been a vocal supporter of the students who hung the nooses, taunted the black student who was beaten up at the off-campus party and allegedly called several black students "nigger." After lunch, he was knocked down, punched and kicked by black students. He was taken to the hospital but was released and was well enough to go to a social event that evening.

Six Black Jena High students, Robert Bailey (17), Theo Shaw (17), Carwin Jones (18), Bryant Purvis (17), Mychal Bell (16) and an unidentified minor, were expelled from school, arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder. Bail was set so high -- between $70,000 and $138,000 -- that the boys were left in prison for months as families went deep into debt to release them.

The first trial ended last month, and Mychal Bell, who has been in prison since December, was convicted of aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery (both felonies) by an all-white jury in a trial where his public defender called no witnesses. During his trial, Mychal's parents were ordered not to speak to the media and the court prohibited protests from taking place near the courtroom or where the judge could see them.
Mychal is scheduled to be sentenced on July 31st, and could go to jail for 22 years. Theo Shaw's trial is next. He will finally make bail this week.” *

********************

Did you get all of that Patriot? In short, the charge should be no different if a white kid gets his ass kicked by black kids than if a black kid gets his kicked by white kids. In Jena, Louisiana that was clearly not the case and thus a miscarriage of justice.

* The sentence against Mychal Bell was vacated when it was determined that he should have been tried as a juvenile.

Yes Patriot you are stupid but not just about equality, you're also immune to logic. It shouldn't take you long to find them and when you do you'll see statistics which consistently demonstrate that most rape victims are attacked by members of their own race.

So why don't we expand your scenario to say the rape victims on the campus at the University of Illinois or Michigan, or in Highland Park, IL. THEN let's look at the rape victims in Austin and Filmore. Do you know what we are likely to find Patriot? That in the majority of the cases the victims and the offenders shared the same race.

Here's another fact: many women are raped by men with whom they are aquainted and these attacks often go unreported. As is generally the case people tend to socialize within their own race so the likelyhood of these offenders being of the same race as their victims is very high indeed.

Logic. Try it sometime.

My warped logic makes me carry my weapon all the time; thats a benefit of being "stupid".
If u think the jena 6 is a tragedy,
try punching in the names of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom;
where's all your ghetto reverends for them?
Let me know when they catch those yuppy guy(s) walking around LAKEVIEW asaulting those women.
Logic? Yours sucks !!!!!!

"My warped logic makes me carry my weapon all the time; thats a benefit of being 'stupid'"-P

Irrelevant and has nothing to do with the subject.

"If u think the jena 6 is a tragedy,
try punching in the names of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom"-P

Ok, five assholes raped and killed these kids and are being charged with capital murder as they should be. And your point is? Surely you cannot make the case that the state has abandoned Christian and Newsom [because the offenders are black?] because the perpetrators are being prosecuted.

Once again I remind you of the issue we are debating: did a miscarriage of justice occur in Jena, Louisiana or not? White kids attacked black kids without reprisal from the state. Black kids attacked a white kid and faced the possibility of a quarter century in prison. You decide.

“where's all your ghetto reverends for them?”-P

Again I ask, what’s your point? All the power and resources of the state are there for them and the crimes committed against them are being addressed. The offenders will most certainly be convicted and will never again walk free among us. This of course is in dramatic contrast to the scores of African American men who were lynched, castrated, and burned to cinders during the Jim Crow era yet the perpetrators [many of who were well known to the community] were never prosecuted. Where was the state for these victims?

“Let me know when they catch those yuppy guy(s) walking around LAKEVIEW asaulting those women”-P

Ergo, white yuppy males are incapable of committing rape. But it’s MY logic that sucks.

Cold Hype -

I appreciate you hanging around to share your thoughts and post on the blog but you're killing me with the circular logic.

While you're busy emphasizing "equality" - Patriot is pointing out that there is no equality when it comes to crime - because, in fact, whites are overly represented in the Victim category, and blacks are over represented in the Offender category.

I think that's what he is saying and I take his point.

M. AHMADINEJAD said...

Sorry Rue, Im actually the Patriot;I just cant answer this idiot anymore.
Remember all the "healing" this country had to do after those 2 white morons killed their black convict associate by dragging him w/the car a few years back? Why isnt there any healing for that Knoxville couple?
Carry your weapon folks(and carry a full-size one!),ya never know when you'll be surrounded by angry democrats.That kid in Jena is lucky that he just got punched.......

Coldtype said...

"...you're killing me with the circular logic"-RSM

No Rue, what you've characterized as Circular Logic is in fact, Merely Logic. Let's briefly reveue the facts.

Patriot's proposterous implication was that more sex crimes are committed against white women by black men than by white men. I quite logically demonstrated this to be nonsense.

Patriot's next "argument" was that the Jena 6 protestors were off base. As the colorofchange.org re-post makes plain this is a clear cut case of Non-equal protection under the law. He has yet to address it. Nor has this intellectual coward addressed in any way the points I raised in our original discussion regarding Iran.

"...Patriot is pointing out that there is no equality when it comes to crime - because, in fact, whites are overly represented in the Victim category, and blacks are over represented in the Offender category"-RSM

Sorry Rue but the White-Race-As-Put-Upon-Victim dosen't wash either. Again we merely have to resort to simple logic to find the truth.

There are more whites in the country at large. Whites commit crimes primarily against other whites (though significantly against non-whites as well) yet are not prosecuted at the same rate as their non-white counterparts. For example, more whites consume illegal drugs, from cocaine to weed to X, yet most of the convictions for drug crimes are for non-whites.

So what America still lacks Rue is equality of justice.

To even imply that the Iranian revolution in the late 70s was "good" for Iran and the rest of the world shows what an intellectual idiot you are.
The Shah was good for Iran. Like America is finding out; certain elements of any society need to be policed differently from the normal/
middle class.
Take a look at every big city in this country.Are u goin to sign-up in Philly?
In 20+ years of policing, Ive never
seen a white on other rape.Never seen a white on other armed robbery. Whites as just too scared to go into ghetto hoods to do anything except buy dope.
Ive never heard u compliment BUSH for liberating the women of Afganistan from the taliban.It shows how close-minded and bigoted u are coldy. U can spin things all u want(like your rape facts/lies);
u cant hide what a racist u truly are. So long.....the Patriot(de oppresso liber)

we dont have roving bands of "baboons" breaking into our houses and cars and stealing things.

"The Shah was good for Iran"- Patriot

Naturally, just as Hitler was “good” for Germany and Western Europe and...

-Pinochet was good for Argentina;

-Suharto was good for Indonesia;

-Diem was good for South Vietnam;

-Mobutu was good for the Congo;

-Duvalier (Papa & Baby Doc) was good for Haiti;

-Saddam was good for Iraq;

-Stalin was good for Russia;

-Trujillo was good for the Dominican Republic;

-Marcos was good for the Philippines, etc, etc.

Let’s imagine a place where the democratically elected government has been overthrown by a foreign power who in its place installs a vicious military junta which is beholden to the energy corporations and major investor class of said foreign power. Imagine further that dissidents and patriots who dare to question the legality and morality of the new arraignment are “disappeared” after undergoing some of the most brutal torture ever devised by man. I then want you to imagine that this foreign-imposed terror lasts not one year nor two years or even a decade, but TWENTY FIVE YEARS!

I have just described Iran after Mossedega was overthrown by the US for having the temerity to nationalize the nation’s oil industry in order to better address domestic needs. This vicious attack on the sovereignty of a nation posing no threat to our country is what you have callously and quite ignorantly just described as “good for Iran”. And I’m supposed to take your opinion seriously on issues that really matter? Try to be serious.
