This came across my radar screen, thanks to Laura Ingraham
Obsession is a documentary which showcases and highlights the war that radical Islam is waging on the West.
It is a story whose time has come.
The writers culled interviews and transcripts from arabic sources to show that Islam is hardly the "religion of peace" that they would have you believe.
There is a large segment of Muslims who don't strap bombs to themselves and murder innocents, thank god. Sources say that about 10% of Muslims worldwide are radical Jihadists. Muslim population is currently estimated to be 1.6 billion. Then, by extrapolation, that amounts to 160 million who are actively engaged in holy war - either by directly supporting the cause or engaged in warfare (planning, equiping and engaging in operations).
Hopefully this movie gets more exposure. The West has seriously underestimated how dangerous this element of Islam is. We routinely see the politically correct crowd in our media and our White House use language to defuse the real threat. We hear the president say that we are in a "war against terror" - no we are not! We are at war with radical Islam and there is a great difference between the two. Terrorism is a strategy, a tool. Terrorism doesn't want to kill you, kafir - Muslims do! You have to define the problem before you can find a solution and the only way to do that with our current worldwide rift is to say, loudly, that radical Islam is the problem.
Let's hope that the movie's producers remember what happened to Theo Van Gogh and have hired armed guards to surround them. You never know when a "peace loving" Muslim will decide that you have offended his God and want to cut your throat.
